What an incredible ceremony last night at the 93rd Academy Awards.

For her stellar work on Nomadland, Chloé Zhao became the first Asian woman and only the second woman in Oscars history to win Best Director!

Also making history last night were Yuh-Jung Youn, the first South-Korean actress to win an Oscar for her role in “Minari” and the multi-talented Emerald Fennell, who became the first British woman to win Best Original Screenplay for her directorial debut “Promising Young Woman”

The very first set ever built was Catleyn’s Chamber, Season 1. Fast forward 7 more seasons with the building of Kingslanding, one of the last sets to be built for Season 8 and the biggest, having over 80 personnel working on it full time.

We are incredibly honoured to have been a part of the GOT journey. The construction team at Poli built the sets for all 73 episodes here in Northern Ireland.
