What I cannot understand is why the Nowak parents had to go to 10 Downing Street. Why didn't Keir Starmer visit them? It feels wrong and lacking common understanding #Starmer unless of course this is what the family wanted to do.
@Telegraph Its not the change. Its him. Him being Starmer. He has forever changed his policies and answers as if he is still a lawyer rather than the Prime Minister. Its not about the pace of change; its him and his policies, not letting us know what he's there for. He's an odd person.
@BBCPolitics This is Ms Reeves doing a version of the Sunak "eat out" during the Covid times gimmick. Its fair enough for a few months, but it's not radical change is it?
@StarrJpost That is unacceptable. I remember my uncle having to change his name another commonwealth country back in the 1950s which was terrible and for it to be the case now, what have we become across the world.
@TimesRadio@DavidLammy@KateEMcCann Like the Tories before you, you have only yourselves to blame. Promised change and integrity, government stability as opposed to chaos. Let alone all the policy turns. Your promise and the trust which has been broken has been led by Starmer. As PM he should take responsibility.
@Peston I find Starmer stubborn and in denial rather than as Lammy said resilient. A fatal flaw in his personality predisposition: high level of control and need for power to validate his belief that he is always right. The danger is he is going to have quite a fall if he doesn't win.
@KarlTurnerMP@DavidLammy@Keir_Starmer@AndyBurnhamGM Totally agree. Some politicians just seek to manage and deal with events (with no regard to earlier positions) rather than provide integrity and stick with their original hard held views. If they do change their view - then openly explain. I can't vote for such people.
@unreMARKLEble So Global institutions use "well known celebrities" to state their case and or ambitions to solve or bring to light various issues. The bowing to celebrity culture rather than leaders of those institutions using politics to bring countries to review their policies.
@TimesRadio He would say that wouldnt he. Currently reading his bio of Starmer and so far he paints a soft focus telling of his background and his time at DPP and politics.
The Andy Burnham Makerfield election provides all the journalists the chance to fill online space and broadcast media content. In my uniformed view, policy won't be the battle ground; it will be about showing Keir Starmer the door.
@darrenpjones So who deals with the friction and tension between policy, design, development and delivery. More levels, more interfaces. Why not take a more integrated project team approach with the minister playing a part to deal with the politics of engaging across all and the electorate.
@MikeTappTweets Arthur Conan Doyle: "the schemer falls into the pit which he digs for another.โ Maybe this is a quote less about you, and more your PM when he was LOTO, which your party fully enjoyed and followed.
@Ameer_Kotecha Not the best way to start off as that means the previous guy's ideas are about to get chopped and changed. What about a smooth handover from one minister to the next. Not a great way of taking on the role.
