Dear KASU students, by now lectures are in full swing and continuous assessments are around the corner. If you have not settled into a study routine, this is the time to do so.

Don't wait until tests are announced before opening your books.

Attend classes regularly.
Read your lecture notes every day.

Complete your assignments on time.

Visit your lecturers during office hours when you need clarification, and make good use of the KASU Career Centre and the University Library.

Remember: success at the university is not about studying harder at the end—it is about studying consistently from the beginning.

I have every confidence that you can make this semester one of your best.

Today, I was simply taking a walk through the streets of Soba, Kaduna State, connecting with the grassroot when I came across something that made me stop and smile.

A group of young people had built their own gym from concrete, iron rods, and pure determination.

No imported equipment. No luxury fitness centre. Just local ingenuity, hard work, and a decision to spend their time building strength instead of getting into trouble.
