Itโs been a rollercoaster of a year. Up and down all the time personally and professionallyโฆ.and where those worlds intersect! Good to end the year with a cracking NYE gig! Thanks for having me play. Happy New Year and peace and love to all!
Very sad news. The Stone Roses were sound of my 6th form & student days. My favourite band and part of the late 80s / early 90s โMadchesterโ music scene. I was at their Blackpool Empress Ballroom gig in 1989. Mani & the band part of why that City is what it is. Gone too soon
The last FWO grant panel after 6 years service! Did the online overnight panels during the COVID era, but it has been great spending time discussing great science / projects in Brussels these last 4 years. Some great projects supported #allgoodthings
Everyone at the England & Wales Cricket Board is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dickie Bird.
A proud Yorkshireman and a much-loved umpire, he will be sorely missed.
Rest in peace, Dickie ๐ค
Honoured & delighted to represent @UniMelb at the Amgen Scholars Asia symposium hosted by @KyotoU_News . Great leadership by @JuliaCleghorn_ for our Melbourne programme and wonderful to see our Melbourne Scholars again 7 months after their research time ended.

This is sad news. Listened to his commentaries and his knowledge of the game growing up. Part of the soundtrack of my youth. Always clear, always informative and always wonderful use of the English language! #RIP
