All India Telugu Federation welcomes the decision of TN CM Sri C J Vijay, to spend the income generated in any temple to be spent only for the development of that temple. Accordingly he cancelled projects worth 245 Cr diverted by previous Govt to various areas unrelated to temples or Hindu religion. This will change the scenario of several hundreds of temples in TN, requiring renovation & improve the facilities to devotees visiting them.

TN Med Practitioners’ Assn (TAMPA) greets Union Health Ministry for completing 10 yrs of productive Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA), leading to sharp decline of maternal mortality rate - MMR (from 113 deaths for one lakh live births in 2016, come down to 87 in 2026. Global MMR is 197). Its focus on monitoring & investment on maternal health, service delivery system, access to quality antenatal care, promoting institutional deliveries etc. during the last decade had given positive results.
