I was notified that I had 2/4 papers accepted to #SIGCSE#Virtual this year:
1. Ethics integration into CS theory.
2. GenAI opinions across CS theory course.
I also am co-leading a working group about how CS education researchers use GenAI in their research workflows.

@marcus_marcusg Some results from pubs I’ve seen from there in my area are…questionable to put it lightly. So this is not surprising, although none of those pubs are in this retraction list.

Some trivia about SODA 2025.
SODA 2025 accepted 192 papers out of 655 submissions. It could have accepted 292 papers without compromising on the quality but could not do so due to strict restrictions on the number of talk slots.

The decisions for #SIGCSE TS 2025 papers are out: and I completely struck out! 0 out of 5 papers/panels accepted. 4 of the 5 were full papers. I’m truly aghast because some of these were great works and had great conclusions, and even the reviewers thought so.
