First up is #Seamless from #TeamSummit which is an innovative smart fare system for public transport. The technology promises to decrease costs, improve efficiencies and help to combat carbon emissions. #EngineeringDesignDay
Next up is the #TeamIntegrate group, who are tackling the challenge of improving the international university student experience, through their innovative app #StudySmart#EngineeringDesignDay
Moving on to team #PlantCheck with their solution #TreeView. This application uses computer vision techniques to assess the risk of urban tree health, improving outcomes and reducing accidents. Enabling affordable afforestation #EngineeringDesignDay
Wrapping up the presentations of #EngineeringDesignDay, is another project from #PlantCheck who were tasked with extensive research to find a low cost, accurate and efficient solutuon which would operate in situ to accurately monitor plant health.

3. Get young people out of these business plan/model/canvas/pitch competitions and get them building stuff.
If business schools spent half as much learning to build stuff as they do in PowerPoint and “validating demand” there would be 100x as many companies.
