The majority of families of Autistic children are on long waitlists for core clinical services through the Ontario Autism Program. Even once funded, many face additional waitlists due to a lack of therapists. Rural families face travel barriers as well.

In honour of #WorldAutismDay , we are pleased to make our report public. We found that many Ontario caregivers of autistic children are overwhelmed due to long waitlists for needs-based therapy, school disruptions, and a lack of mental health, respite and crisis supports.
