Oh my goodness, what a wonderful opportunity to hear again from @dunkleybent at this event today. I am attending online, but your inspirational leadership is palpable. Thank you @dunkleybent, from the bottom of my heart!

If Polanski was accepting big donations from corporations & foreign donors, denying climate change, spent his youth goose stepping & bullying Jews or was currently supporting genocide he’d be getting an easier ride from our media.I don’t know what to do with that, it’s just sick.

At what point do we stop pretending our newspapers are ‘news’ and start calling them what they are…

Promotional pamphlets for the billionaires who own them and the agendas they’re selling.

here's ANOTHER paper demonstrating why continuity of care matters... and why searching for quick access comes at a cost. Waiting a little bit longer for someone who knows you, and who will follow up with you may be better all round https://t.co/YjNUMNPeGI

Early life sugar restriction was associated with lower risks of myocardial infarction, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and stroke

Breastfeeding seems to cause specialised immune cells to flood into the breasts and stay there for years or even decades, reducing the risk of cancer.

Fragmenting care costs more+ lower quality care. meantime qualified GPs can't get jobs in practices (complex but increased costs of running practices, underfunding /instability). far better to invest in stable core NHS GP (and read evidence on walk in services!)

[Christine McCourt @ProfMcCourt]

@mgtmccartney I just would submit an article elsewhere

[Marina Purkiss @MarinaPurkiss]

Farage’s plan to scrap indefinite leave could collapse the NHS…

Which would be incredibly good news for someone wanting us to move to an ‘insurance based system’

FYI the average American pays £480 per month for private healthcare

Please wake up folks.

@JonathanPieNews My mother was 56 when she lost her job in 1981. Was never able to get another despite trying anything advertised & approaching places. The local housing estate became overrun with heroin problems. Entire areas of unemployment and enormous psychological damage as well as poverty.

[Jeremy Corbyn @jeremycorbyn]

In November, I expressed my concern that the Assisted Dying Bill could not provide adequate safeguards against abuse and social coercion.

I am still not satisfied - and that is why I voted against this legislation.

[Lizzi Green 🌈 @LizziGreen2]

I’m genuinely shocked that this incredibly ill thought law has succeeded. When I worked in a hospice, we had to fundraise approximately £10,000 a day to keep it fully functioning. To see this bill succeed before palliative care is fully funded and available is almost unbelievable.

[Dr Rachel Clarke @doctor_oxford]

.@kimleadbeater you are misleading the House before today’s vote. You know the Royal College of Psychiatry - the experts in capacity & coercion - has explicitly opposed your bill. It breaks my heart that you would use a sleight of hand to mislead MPs and the public in this way.

[Christine McCourt @ProfMcCourt]

@birthandbiology @TheBMA It’s almost as though they haven’t read the actual judgement but o my some news headlines or social media comments. It severely misrepresents it and I fail to see how that helps anyone.
