Happy #InternationalWomensDay2023! As I continually move through the various complex seasons of life as a woman, I always feel solidarity and solace knowing fellow women experience similar struggles, obstacles, impossibilities, joys, contentments, and milestones.
@Momademia Age 8 is good! I also have a 6 year old and it’s been fine. The dogs may be another story! 😊 I hope you feel better soon. Herniated discs are the worst because they just happen out of nowhere!
@Momademia So far so good. And the more walking after, the better. But I can’t lift my toddler for 6-8 weeks and that’s by far the hardest part. So I can’t really be alone with him. How old is your child? If they’re not little like this, it’s so much easier!
To all the trans kids being targeted by the Indiana General Assembly:
You are loved.
You are cherished.
You belong here.
You are not alone.
You deserve better.

@LMalloy Thanks! I’m sorry for you too! For me, it happened 6 weeks ago. I’ve dealt with disc issues for 10 years and it’s always resolved on its own or with PT but this time, it looks like I need surgery! Mainly due to risk of nerve damage. 😔 Worst news ever.
@mamabearister I’m so sorry - and from a teacher! I’d be upset too. Were you able to say anything to the teacher in the moment? If not, maybe a follow up?
@LMalloy@onepeloton@fitxkendall@RobinNYC@CodyRigsby I’m so sorry and I happen to be going through the same right now! It’s a herniated disc, which I’ve had in the past, but this time a severe one! An MRI will tell you. Once the inflammation is down, you can move more. Physical therapy helps! You’ll get back to normal!
