should here yesterday - NOTHING... Today waited and let's sing together - NOTHING - rang @johnlewishelp again - poor line again- but assured would be called between 2-6pm by the @JohnLewisRetail Cribbs Causeway - NOTHING!!!! Not had such bad service from @JohnLewisRetail ever!
So while @JohnLewisRetail is basking in plaudits over its new Xmas ad... I would be really happier if they kept their normal show on the road... Needed a new oven - bought in store 5 days ago - couldn't bring one home as no stock in stores anymore, assured could collect
it 2 days later - turned up (130km round trip) to be told it was not there waiting for me - rang @johnlewishelp - terrible line and call dropped twice -the garbled info I managed to hear showed the poor rep was being bounced between departments from inside the system - told
Amazing @MarkCavendish - a true inspiration & congratulations- I don’t care what happens now in the tour although a couple of stages from my home town lad @Sammmy_Be & a good finish for @GeraintThomas86 would be the icing!!! 💪 https://t.co/lPvq01d9Gc
It’s official then, back to the Tour 👀 I’ve stayed off the beers since the Giro and been feeling alright. Can’t wait to get stuck in again with the boys. Doesn’t get any bigger than the Tour 💪👌 #viveletour
Victoria Derbyshire, "The Conservatives will put up people's taxes in the next parliament, won't they"
Gillian Keegan, "No"
VD, "I'm going to pause you right there. The Conservatives would put up taxes in the next parliament, that is true, is it not?"
GK, "It is not.. We have said we will reduce taxes"
VD, "I'm talking about tax take, the tax burden"
GK, "Ok, that includes everything"
VD, "So they're going up?"
GK, "Umm.. It depends...I mean literally.. We have tried to make sure we reduce the taxes for working people"
VD, "The tax take. The IFS today showed calculations that mean total taxes as a share of GDP will rise under the Conservatives plan. That is correct"
GK, "Well I'll look at those calculations"
VD, "Right now under you tax take is 36.5% of GDP, rising to 36.8% - you can acknowledge that is going up, can't you?"
GK, "I want your viewers to know the taxation system for the economy is really complex"
VD, "You wont answer it because you know it's going up"
GK, "The overall tax take is much more complicated than that"
