“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
C. S. Lewis, God in the Dock
The meme accidentally answers itself.
If people are selfish, capitalism channels self interest into production, trade, and value creation.
If people are generous, capitalism leaves them free to help others voluntarily.
The system works either way.
The real contradiction is claiming people are too selfish for voluntary charity, but selfless enough to hand those same people unlimited political power.
It's socialism that requires saints in theory and produces politicians in practice.
The commies used boiling water as a method of execution.
They killed infants.
But they didn’t boil any infants alive.
Those were two totally separate things, chud.
(they’re not monsters lmao)
Actions speak louder than words.
Here's a video of feminists disrupting a conference for male suicide victims, and another one of them disrupting a conference for male victims of domestic violence.
Feminists have also worked to cover up evidence of symmetry in domestic violence perpetration between men and women to prop up the debunked "patriarchal dominance" theory that promotes the idea that men are always aggressors and women are always victims, and they have also actively advocated against the funding of shelters for male domestic violence victims.
@RusGarbageHuman They've convinced young men that looking at female bodies (naked and otherwise) is "being a pervert."
Which when you remember the left has been the party of unrestricted degenerate sex since the 60s is really a tough equivalency to draw, but they pull it off.
It has never been officially acknowledged, but it is an open secret that the UK government sends its nudge unit to grieving families after tragedies like this. Their job is to warn the family they will be held responsible for any public reaction and to push statements about unity to shield the authorities.
In Henry Nowak's case, they clearly missed his godmother. She has spoken with raw honesty about the failures that cost her godson his life. Henry's sister Olivia has likewise shared and supported calls for real accountability instead of scripted silence.
A government that uses threats to manage and muzzle a family's grief has lost all moral authority.
22 yrs ago today, after a long zoning dispute with local officials that ruined his business, welder Marvin Heemeyer had enough & created the Killdozer.
He destroyed the mayor’s house, the judge’s house, town hall, the police station, & the bank - while avoiding hurting civilians or their property.
Happy Killdozer Day to those who celebrate 🎊
@RomNace@TemplarsRoar Whenever one of them remarks, "It's not a big deal, why do you care?" The response should be, "If it's not a big deal, why do you care what I have to say about it?"
