Our doors at @nemanigeria are open to collaboration. The more we connect with sister agencies, the stronger our collective capacity becomes to prevent, prepare for, and respond to disasters.
I emphasized this firm resolve at a productive meeting with a delegation of the North West Development Commission @NWDCOfficialNg, led by its Managing Director, Prof. Shehu Abdullahi Ma’aji, during which we explored avenues of partnership in areas of mutual interest, particularly in humanitarian interventions, flood management, and post-disaster recovery across the North West geo-political zone.
We look forward to working with all the newly created regional development commissions established by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as we seek to strengthen community-based disaster management structures nationwide.
