@JacobOldknow @JMB_CU16 When Latu ends up with double digit sacks in multiple seasons before his 5th year option, the regret will settle in for the FO, HC, and AB. Many fans are more disappointed after this weekend then 28-3…Not a single 2024 draft pick will start in 24 or 25…that’s how bad of a draft
@JMB_CU16 This basically tells me the plan is to move on from two of Onyemata, Grady, and Graham in 2025…and prefer to draft, stash, and develop instead of FA and rookie in 2025…not what a “win now” or playoff/SB team needs to do to improve.
@JMB_CU16 We drafted 3 IDL and an EDGE guy, with the following current: GJ, Onyemata, Graham, Harrison, Street…it makes no sense. Lack of snap count value. I don’t think there is 1 draft pick that will have an impact in 2024…and that’s what pisses me off
@JMB_CU16 Falcons feel like last 5-10 years of Al Davis Raiders right now with every decision, pick. Like WTF is too common a response for the knowledgeable fan.
@JMB_CU16 Started the draft with 3 picks in Top 80 (1 Top 10)…we end up with 1 player that will help the team in 2024…and a massive reach at that player/position. GTFO Terry Fontenot.
@JMB_CU16 Sums up the night for most fans. I’ve been a fan for 40 years…I’m probably done with this team until it’s passed to a new ownership group. Didn’t hire BB, signed a huge QB contract, then drafted 6th best QB (24yr old) at #8. Bad 2024 for ATL. 28-3 is better
@shedrickcarter2 @JMB_CU16 That actually is the only logical reason for the Penix selection…horrible pick for Falcons. There is absolutely no logic to the selection. Why spend $100M over next 2 seasons and not equip the team the best…might as well have just spent that $100M on 4 other position players
@JMB_CU16 This pick is so bad…we’d have been better off trading #8 and next years 1st for Drake Maye…but if this is really the only QB we seriously scouted? That’s what is even worse. What a pony show for the maxed out credit card season ticket masses.
@JMB_CU16 Worst Falcons draft pick ever. 6th best QB at #8…24 years old. Won’t play for 2 full seasons. Horrible. This is an owner directive for you know what.
@JMB_CU16 30yrs when season starts…idk what an extension would look like? I’d toss a 4th at most for 1yr rental, not sure I’d do a 3rd even with extension. Look at what Burns was just had for, he’s 26 and light years better
@JoeyC_3 @JMB_CU16 By 4pm tomorrow, new league year. LAC is $25mil over the new league year cap. Must be under before it starts, so hypothetically this move would get them closest, quickest with probably 1 other release or restructure. They prob try to get trade comp 1st, before release.
@JMB_CU16 Prioritize Mack, not Bosa. Injuries, and a 6.5 sack/season average last 4 seasons not dynamic enough. Maybe better to have Clowney at $8-$10mil? Mack with the Pace connection, should be a done deal, hopefully shipping a 5th/6th…get a huge upgrade, vet leader
@JMB_CU16 @sigma_aaron1 He didnt make an impact....we need defensive guys that can make an impact in the alst 2 minutes of games or in big moments...thats Khalil Mack, a couple of potential rookies have that type of "IT" factor in them too...Not sure Hunter has it, but hes better than Young
@JMB_CU16 Honestly - rather have 1 year of Mack for a 5th/6th rounder at $17mil (his salary post trade), with oppotunitiy to extend and spread at a cheaper rate than reported $30mil AAV of Hunter...bc I also want to draft a top EDGE player...and Ebikiete finally came on last year
@FreddieandHD Who is coming with BB or JH?!? You give me JH with Roman as OC and pry Fangio with Tomsula…that’s superior to BB with Bradyless McDaniels and Patricia (no Mayo). It’s Harbaugh both short and longterm!
