Dr. Badary, an Egyptian neurosurgeon working in Germany, completed a one-month training program with our department. He received permission from the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare for clinical training and participated in treatments.

Yesterday, we held an epilepsy seminar with Professor Fujimoto from Mibu. We reaffirmed the characteristics and advantages of new antiepileptic drugs. We hope this will be of some help to epilepsy treatment in Saitama Prefecture.

Ten new nurses have been assigned to the 18-bed SCU and the neurosurgery ward (C4). There’s a lot to learn in their first year as working professionals, but we hope they’ll do their best while maintaining both mental and physical health.

Yesterday, the Kanto regional meeting of the Japanese Neurosurgical Society was held in Ryogoku. The presentation by a young neurosurgeon was excellent, a testament to the outstanding skills of the senior physicians who mentored him.
