Principal of University of Edinburgh, Sir Peter Mathieson flummoxed when asked his pay.
A 7.5% pay rise. Earning more than the Scottish First Minister and UK PM combined but still "not quite sure"

Apparently these operations can only be done on Mondays due to shortage of staff and operating theatre space. So another weeks wait lays ahead. I cannot fault the incredible nursing staff there - they are super amazing but it is demoralising for us all to see my poor mum suffer.
So sad to see my mumโs operation @StMarysGenHosp cancelled for the third time in a row. At 89, she is finding it hard -she had the accident almost three weeks ago and in that time has been laying in a hospital bed unable to walk. 1/2
