They wonder why there is social tension. Police must follow the law of the land, everyone is equal, but not in modern Britain. Equity trumps equality, & who decides on equity?

@gozzand @sharrond62 We don't expect everyone can find a job, there is always a small % of unemployment, the state must incentivise work over benefit for abled bodied people (& some disabled). The feeling I get is Labour are trying to tackling poverty with free money rather than treat its causes.

@DannyBeales Agree, LGBT do live freely in western societies, problem is their attempt to control the narrative, spreading harmful ideology to young children, for XY men to invade women safe spaces, women sports & jobs, also some commit crimes in women's name. The law must be based on Biology

@EYakoby The UN is a failed organisation, trying to please some Muslim majority nations hence keeping quiet about women abuse in Afganistan, Iran etc. Many Arab & Muslim countries are modern & give women almost equal rights. UN leaders stay silent out of fear & to keep their jobs.

@sharrond62 Most pensioners are good citizens, worked hard & paid their taxes for decades. It is an unfair attack on our beloved old people who want to live with the minimal of comfort & dignity, working age people who don't work & contribute are the burden. We must call it as it is.

@sharrond62 I was waiting for such a comment, how do we expect pensioners without other income to live on &1000/month? People on left & right say triple lock is unsustainable? What is unaffordable is the welfare bill, people who don't work & pay taxes including migrants are the problem.

@NJ_Timothy Agree, the law is clear, everyone is equal, there were days when minorities campained for equal rights, now the natives are! Merit has to be the overriding factor behind any appointment, a country that appoint lesser leaders is doomed to failure, mediocracy breeds mediocracy.

Trans women are men, most will be ok but some will abuse this freedom to enter & abuse women

@isaacrrr7 What about living in an oppressive Islamic country like Iran, Afganistan or KSA etc. If you live in the west, you must accept their culture & society's norms. In UK, women have equal rights, they aren't not just sex & domestic slaves. Also marrying underage girls is paedophilia!

@KemiBadenoch Even more importantly, second or third tier level leaders bring in people who are worse than them to protect their position & status. Seen it all before, the system will gradually disintegrate & rot within, this is also self perpetuating. We already see that in public services

@KemiBadenoch A system that doesn't reward merit is doomed to failure. How did we get to this edict of diversity trumps merit in the first place? Of course diversity matters but as a professional, you want the most qualified, isn't that correct when you have an operation or going for a flight?
