Sad to read to-day of the death of Anthony Head, whose performance, as Uther Pendragon in the BBC Merlin series, was truly definitive. He was a marvelous character actor. RIP.

Michiru Yamane's new CD, INTEGRATION, is absolutely fantastic. Her arrangement of "Crystal Teardrops" (from the soundtrack to SYMPHONY OF THE NIGHT) is just the perfect piece of lounge jazz. It's so good that it makes the original better in retrospect.
