They're making it happen! Amazing MSMS 8th graders step up to the challenge and set up for the 29th Annual Solidarity Craft Fair, featuring 34 vendors, Silent Auction and Luncheon, Saturday at Bethany and Unitarian Churches in Montpelier. See you there! (Auction closes at 1pm!)
They were so excited that their song, "Bamboleo" won the Locotubre Battle of the Decades election (43,000 kids voted across the country!) that they all volunteered to write it up and announce it to MSMS! So exciting when you find something that sparks joy and motivates learners!
Tamales! It's been a great 2 days of 8th graders cooking and eating a new-to-some-of-them food, Tamales Rajas! They were so excited to share their creations with our admin team and I was so excited when kids who I wasn't sure would like them asked for seconds! #handsonlearning

Love how they support each other and all the other runners from all over VT. Great meet of champions race at St Albans and good luck at New England's!
Meet the Division 2 XC State Runners Up after a photo finish! Proud of these Montpelier HS Solons who will proudly represent Vermont at New England's in Rhode Island on Nov. 12.
Happy Diwali! Grateful for my co-TA Sirisha who shared delicious food and traditions of this special holiday with our TA on Friday. They devoured the treats and were a rapt audience! #DiwaliCelebration
When you find your way back to the trail after a 5 minute detour through a neighborhood in St Johnsbury during your last regular season MS XC race, but you know you're gonna make it to the end because your besties have got you. #grit#love5thgraders
Proud of these MSMS and UES students and friends who helped us wrap up Hispanic Heritage month, performing a folkloric dance and enjoying themselves at the first Hispanic and Latino Heritage Celebration in Montpelier.

In just a week, MSMS and UES students and friends learned a folkloric dance celebrating the staying power of corn and their ancestors. Today they performed it at the first Hispanic and Latino Heritage Celebration in Montpelier. @JulieConradVT@BareaKatie@mrpsvt@Bonesteelvt
