Open for event work in 2025 🎙️
I've worked a broadcast every year since '22 and I hope to continue the streak this year
Working some of the biggest tournaments has been a privilege, but I'm also happy to bring my vibe to events of any size
If you are looking for someone fun, informed, and easy to work with don't hesitate to reach out
As a side note, I'm happy to flex into different roles outside of just analysis and I have both an EU and Canadian passport
See you on stream 👋
JT has an easier job than previous IGLs simply because of malbsMd
For the first time in a long time, the success or failure of a Liquid lineup won't be down to rifler balance
Still plenty to do, and some great insight from @DrTcCs on how JT can make it happen ⤵️
Seeing a lot of confusion and comments about our forfeit last night, so hopefully this clears up some of the comments.
The region "Asia" is where we are forced to play, based on our nationalities. The region includes Australia as well as all the Asian countries.
The qualifier for Beijing and others is online. They use only Asian Servers No Australian Servers are in the Server Pool. 80% of Australia live on the east coast (Sydney, Melbourne etc).
The ping from these Eastern Cities to the closest Asia Server (Singapore) is about 110ms. It's 8hrs by plane.
This is why historically we dont play the qualifiers, its very hard to beat Tyloo/Lynn Vision etc on fair conditions, impossible to beat them on 110ms. With VRS on the line, its crazy to accept.
However there is 1 city in Australia where we can play on a reasonable ping (50ms). This is Perth. This is on the other side of Australia. We took flights of 4-6hrs to fly to Perth. Yes we fly 4-6hrs to play an Online Qual (Further than flying LA to Miami or flying London to Moscow) and still get 50ms when we arrive.
We found a venue that has very good internet, both in speed/redundancy/routing.
We were playing the qual from Perth on 50ms. Tyloo had 55ms - so this should of been nearly perfect (50 vs 55) and a great game for the fans to see.
However the physical connection from Perth to Asia breaks.
Flying 7 people, renting the venue and accommodating 7 people isn't free. It will cost us around 15k USD to play an online qual on 50ms.
If we dont pay, we dont play and miss the events. All the other Asia teams can play from Home.
This was our choice, we wanted to give it a go, as i said we usually decline all invites because of the cost/risk.
This ended with us forfeiting the cost, the VRS and the chance to qualify.
It is what it is, maybe we will try again next year!
LFT -> Bing Chilling and fixing stuff irl but unc is slowly getting ready to comeback, preferably AWPER but I am also willing to IGL+AWP, I still believe I can be an asset to many teams with my experience and I am eager to show that I can still shine in the right enviroment ✌
@PoesysCS@LuzRaposa I have a very strong suspicion that blitz wasn't the 100% IGL for all maps at all times.
But it's mongolz, so we will never really know
