Today, I accept with humility the call to serve as a Senator of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

I thank Prime Minister, the Hon. Philip Davis, for his confidence and for entrusting me with this responsibility. I also thank my family, my friends, my colleagues, my mentors, and my village of support. Every prayer, word of encouragement, lesson, correction, and act of love helped carry me to this moment.

I enter this new chapter clear about the work ahead. My focus is to help the next generation of leaders believe that politics can be a tool for good, service, and nation building.

Too many young people feel that high places are reserved for someone else. I want my service to help change that. I want more young Bahamians to see themselves in rooms of decision, in positions of influence, and in places where the future of our country is shaped.

This appointment is bigger than me. It is about opening doors, raising expectations, and proving that young people have something serious to offer this country.
