Just wrapped up #Lifesavers2025 by presenting a session on Transporting Children with Special Health Needs. Now, I'm heading back to @KetteringU. It was great seeing all of my CPST friends!
@broadwaybabyto Traveling with POTS is the worst. It takes me days to recover. I now always travel with disposable tablecloths in my carry-on because I have had enough of laying down on digusting airport floors trying not pass out. People don't understand that sitting is sometimes not enough!
@Delta just completed my 4th flight this Dec, and all 4 had unacceptable seat cushions causing pain and lower limb numbness for hours even after arrival. There is no resiliency, the foam was permanently compressed. What is your field maintenence schedule and procedure for seats?

1) I think generally healthy/abled people often feel better when they workout so they offer this advice to chronically ill/disabled people thinking we will get the same results. The harsh reality is that a lot of chronically ill/disabled/chronic pain patients
I'm at @SAEIntl WCX today. My #AutoDrive students gave their presentation for the Mobility Innovation Challenge, on how to make autonomous vehicles accessible for people who are deaf or hearing-impaired. I'm proud of all their hard work!
