good morning traders

algo printed me +$2,000 on $EURUSD over night while i was asleep

looking at the charts for $XAUUSD for another short position

up +$9,000 on $XAUUSD shorts this week so far, let's see if the trend continues

i have my levels set on the chart for my entry, let's watch the price action

november start strong, Q4 finishing strong

from my experience in trading (+6 years), most new traders fail due to over complication

they try too many indicators, strategies and TA simultaneously

the best traders I know keep it simple

1 strategy, 1 set up, if it’s there, they execute - if it’s not there, they wait

once I implemented this, my success shifted drastically

used to do a lot of betting arbitrage between sports books back in the day before i got heavily limited

but, i wonder, is there an opportunity to do that with the trending prediction markets meta?

did not trade yesterday because I did not see any setup that made sense too me

but this morning, the patience paid off

found the correct levels, patiently waited for my entry, moved my sl up once I felt I wouldn’t hit my full tp to lock in the profits

if my set up and analysis is correct, should be another great day with gold

Once I started winning on certain sports book consistently enough, they would limit my bet sizes to the point where it didn’t make sense for me to bet that small for the arbitrage

I’m intrigued to see if I can replicate this strategy on the prediction markets, even if it is on momentarily, there can be money to be made.

have been trading since 2019

i remember jumping into this with no experience at all other than a background in finance and auditing

started in stocks and options, migrated to crypto and nfts and then shifted to forex and CFDs while building trading algos

for me personally, i made the most money trading crypto (with perps - i was exit liquidity in memecoins lol) and now forex and CFDs

however, even though i am happy with my current skills with forex and CFDs, i do want to revist trading stocks and options now that i have years of experience under my belt

plus, over the years, i have met tremendous mentors and traders that are magicians with options trading that can help me refine my skills and ideology for that market

maybe soon, but currently refining our $EURUSD trading algo and building a new $XAUUSD trading algo
