@TheAR_Trust An important step forward for advancing accountability and evidence-based decision-making in Africa's health sector.
The Africa Health Financing Dashboard is more than a tracking tool—it is a catalyst for action, transparency, and stronger domestic investment in health.
Lord, this is the day that You have made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Let this day bring us joy, hope, restoration, healing, peace, and testimonies. Let Your grace, which is always sufficient, sustain us in every circumstance. @_AfricanUnion@AUChristianNews@AUC31

African youth: Never stop learning because those who keep learning never stop growing. Lifelong learning is the foundation of personal growth, resilience, innovation & meaningful contribution to society. The knowledge & skills you build today will shape the Africa of tomorrow.
The true measure of youth is not age; it is the willingness to keep learning. The moment we stop growing, we begin to grow old, whether we are 20 or 90. Every new lesson & new skill & every new experience keeps the mind active, d spirit renewed & the future full of possibilities.
As a former Vice Board Chair & Board Member of the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning - @UIL, I have seen firsthand d transformative power of lifelong learning. It is more than an educational principle—it is a way of life.

Proud to be part of d @TheAR_Trust team, generating evidence, shaping policy dialogue, & championing African-led solutions to strengthen our health systems. As ext support evolves, domestic resource mob, regional cooperation & accountable leadership are more important than ever.
As the #SADC Joint Health & Finance Ministers Meeting continues in Harare, the message from the data is clear: The region's path to health sovereignty runs through its own resources.
Presenting our #SADCHealthFinance Exemplars analysis, the African Renaissance Trust finds a mixed but moving picture - 13 of 16 SADC states have reduced out-of-pocket spending, but only 5 of 16 meet the Abuja 15% target.
Yet the blueprint already exists. Malawi tripled its health budget. Mauritius mobilized $150M in private capital. Zambia's NHIMA now covers millions - with Mozambique and Tanzania building their own locally-owned models too.
That's why we were on the ground to #Connect, #Inform and #Activate: connecting policymakers with grassroots evidence, informing decisions through our research and working to activate lasting institutional change.
As external aid declines, domestic resource mobilization and regional cooperation are the way forward. The blueprint is ready. The time for action is now.

“We gather under the theme: ‘Beyond Balance: Empowering Women to Lead, Thrive, & Transform the Future of Work & Life.’ This is more than a theme—it is a call to rethink how we define success. For too long, women have been told to ‘balance’ life as if it were a constant struggle.
