Goat breeds in India have long, pendulous ears to help regulate their body temperatures. Sometimes their ears can reach 25 cm!! Their ears hang low and they do wiggle to and fro!

It is jackfruit season in Wayanad. People climb 10 to 20 feet up in the trees to cut these giant, spiky fruits down. Once opened, the fruits can be enjoyed fresh or cooked in a variety of ways; fried, mashed, sweet, and savory.
