We are thrilled that our project with Built Green has achieved an amazing 0.66ACH on its first pressure test! This is considerably lower than needed for the AECB Retrofit Standard which the project is targeting, saving our client approximately 5kWh/m2.a or 535 kWh per year. 🔋

With circa 27million homes in need of some kind of Retrofit in the UK, there is an urgent demand for scaling up our approach. Greater Manchester Combined Authority has identified a target of 60,000 retrofits a year and as each year passes these targets necessarily increase.
Less than two weeks until the AECB annual conference... have you got your ticket to catch up with fellow members and old friends.
Tickets available on our website: https://t.co/tGsR3aNoAV - we hope to see you there!

@gmclh1@PassivhausTrust@CommLandTrusts@CommLedHousing The homes will be super low energy, using natural materials. They will require very little heating and with renewable energy generation, the aim is for them to be as close to 'zero energy' homes as possible, meaning that fuel bills will be extremely low.
ANNOUNCEMENT: We're looking for 5 households to get involved with building their own #passivhaus low energy homes, as part of a community led scheme in collaboration with Greater Manchester Community Led Homes @gmclh1.
