Sometimes you need to make something simple to remind yourself you're good at coding, and for me that always ends up with a project involving Pokemon 😆
@simonisworking@theSchoolOfCode Great that you're getting into AWS!! It's very overwhelming at first, but I found that just sticking to one or two services to start with helps the overwhelm 😊
For the past 4wks, our bootcampers have planned, researched, managed & developed their projects & today they present their solutions to real business challenges LIVE!🙌
A few snippets from the previous 4 team's projects👇

It's concerning to me the sheer volume of tech people who are head over heels in love with NFTs. They're terrible for artists, terrible for the environment, and not actually that great for your finances either.
@void0err@afilina I still don't *enjoy* writing tests but I can see why they're so beneficial. It's like using a spell checker when you're writing an essay. Humans make mistakes, and tests help catch those mistakes before they're in uat, or worse, production.
@void0err@afilina I used to have a similar POV,never got why people raved about tests. Started as a junior for a company & quickly changed my mind. The time it saves,it makes you a better developer, & makes your code so much cleaner. Refusing to write tests was my ego getting in the way of my code
Coding is for everyone!🙌
Our bootcampers came from a wide variety of backgrounds BEFORE they applied to the School of Code.
