@leftwingpeony@JWing747 It would be one thing if other women had similar experiences. But not a single one did. Only the one with a clear political motive.
@SoCalled_1@nytimes That wouldn’t make him any different from 80% of people in the Senate right now.
Graham at-least has severe PTSD as an excuse. Whats theirs?
Here's the chair of the Independent Women’s Forum, the right-wing group where Lyndsey Fifield is a fellow, bragging about helping draft Susan Collins's remarks when she voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh.
Fifield is NYT's main source, and the only one alleging anything physical.
@hutchinson They interviewed numerous women and the only one that said anything like this happens to be a Republican operative?
It would be one thing if most of these women had similar experiences, but it’s only the one with a clear political motive.
The NY Times was up here in Maine for 6 weeks. They have been on the Platner ex-gf beat for months & left no stone unturned. If there was anything else they would have put it in the story.
@jman87530075@Albaplena1@nytimes Again no evidence. The only person claiming he knew is the GOP operative. She has zero evidence and in fact exposed herself as the person who was the source of the original story.
@Albaplena1@nytimes He told them no credible sources of assault which so far there are none. He didn’t lie. He probably also told them about this hit piece and future ones coming.
Over the last three days, Democratic and Republican operatives created the narrative that Graham Platner SA'ed someone. When the story came out, there was no SA allegation. It's mostly a conservative activist saying he was a bad boyfriend, but even she says there was no domestic violence.
If you criticize Israel, they'll try to ruin your life.
@Anokataxs@halalflow@AOC It’s a nothing burger hit piece of tabloid journalism from a GOP operative that works for an org that works with the Collins campaign. No assault, no evidence of anything she claims. https://t.co/fUXvXPbNad
