Being legal doesn't make it right.

You file your taxes don't you? That's proving that you paid your fair share.

You have to prove you're capable to drive a car to operate on public roads.

You have to prove WHO you are to travel through the air.

If you don't believe that then why do we need a 2A to protect us from a tyrannical government?

The 2A protects states rights to form their own military (eg. National Guard). Nothing more.

"Well educated" is a broad term that is not as clearly defined. It's subjective where as being a Scotsman or not is factual.

It's the same argument used by the pro 2A crowd that "only criminals commit crimes" or "only bad guys kill people."

Probably because it's illegal. In order to do it legally, they need time and money and to jump through some hoops.

Pipe bombs can also easily be made in the privacy and comfort of anybody's home but we don't have a problem with mass amounts of deaths by pipe bombs.

That's like you saying "non-racist societies have enacted slavery." Racist societies don't think they're racist. Uneducated societies don't think they're uneducated (or under-educated). But they are.

In the same way that "only bad guys commit crimes," only uneducated societies vote for tyrants.
