Now it makes sense why they’re doing the Roadster reveal in Waco and not somewhere people can actually fly into.

SpaceX already has its engine test site in McGregor — 18 miles outside Waco. That’s where they fire Raptors.

So of course that’s where the “flying car” demo is going.

Nearest real airports from there:
• DFW — 110 miles
• Austin — 110 miles
• Houston — 190 miles

Waco’s airport can take private jets, so the Founders Series crowd will be fine. lol. Everybody else is renting a car.
