The Steam page is finally live! Thank you for your patience and all the support.
Lead the last carrier task force through a world overrun by zombies. Command your forces on the operations map, then zoom into battle and take control yourself.

Ever since I watched World War Z, I’ve wanted to build this.
In Ebbtide, zombies pile on top of each other to reach your troops. Gunfire can knock them off, and the pile can collapse as they climb.
Even a rooftop can become a frontline.
You’ve seen the firepower. Here’s why you’ll need it.

@happppppppyDan Thanks! I’m preparing a Steam Playtest first, followed by a public demo. A focused FOB-defense scenario could be a good introduction—I’ll keep that in mind!
Scaling up helicopter operations in Ebbtide. 🚁
I’ve been working on helicopter group movement, with different formations and adjustable spacing between aircraft.
Here’s a larger transport formation moving across Los Angeles before deploying its squads on the ground.
How does the formation movement look?
Also, the Steam store page should be ready to go live this week! Sorry for the wait, and thanks for your patience.

@ConnorEllison They follow the overall layout of the helicopter formation! After dismounting, each squad takes up defensive positions around its own helicopter, so the whole deployment retains that formation
@gushuangqian1 Absolutely! You’re welcome to make non-commercial videos. Please credit Ebbtide / @ProjectAliveDev and make clear that the footage is from a game still in development. I’d love to see your videos and hear your group’s feedback—thank you! 😄
@daunt1less Thank you! There’s more than ordinary zombies planned 👀 Armed human enemies are something I’d like to explore in future updates too, but they aren’t confirmed yet.
Thank you so much! Glad you found the game, and I really appreciate the encouragement! A long-running sandbox is the goal! I’d also love to support community-made missions and scenarios. I’m keeping that flexibility in mind while designing the scenario system, though an editor isn’t confirmed yet. Thanks for the suggestion!
@thomasatattamus Thank you! I’ve been trying to make the movement feel as natural as possible too, so I’ll try refining it with your suggestion in mind. Really appreciate the feedback!
