@NewcomerGames Great question! I think there will have to be transformation on both sides: how EdTech approaches schools, and how schools are set up to adopt EdTech.
Ultimately, we hope to figure out what this looks like within our community of educators and entrepreneurs.
*When* we achieve equitable learning outcomes for all learners, technology will have played an integral part of that achievement.
How and when will that happen, and are we at least headed the right way? We WILL get there, but we are not headed the right way - why?

I hosted a workshop today with education entrepreneurs in Boston and am so inspired by their vision, agility, and perseverance. In a highly-regulated and entrenched sector like education, entrepreneurship can be a tough journey. We should try to make it easier.

We’ve learned a lot from the founders we serve. For EdTech entrepreneurs, the number one and two hurdles are almost always fundraising 💵 and sales 📈
The truth is that what’s keeping EdTech from fulfilling its promise has nothing to do with either of those thins.

We’ve talked to so many Instructional Technology Coaches who are passionate about the positive effects technology can have in their teachers’ classrooms, and frustrated by being “caught in the middle”of procurement and support decisions.
