@Margo47492531 Apologies for the delayed answer. I am a slow tweeter! No exact timeline, but as you may know we are now proceeding without the NHS at this stage, so we are currently raising funds to establish a Joshi Hub in Inverness sometime next year. Hope that helps.

Have just returned from a trip to Trieste to observe the world's most successful MH model in action, and study how it can be applied to Scotland. It's astonishing the recovery outcomes that can be accomplished when human rights and human connection comes before anything else.

Also visited Trieste's dependency/addiction services, which uses a complicated, flexible, individualized and layered approach, in which no one is abandoned or left to slip through the net.

Even though NHS Highland MH management declined to join us on this trip, change is coming. Amazing to see a model focused on an individual's recovery, instead of simply managing symptoms. This model should be adapted to the needs of every community in Scotland.

@CapitalistFraud The Joshi Project is alive and well. We’re working on beginning a small art psychotherapy project in Glasgow and opening a Trieste-style center in Inverness later this year or early next, with the help of local service users, the WHO and friends in Trieste.

Many suicides occur when starting, changing or stoping psychiatric drugs. Way more than are publicly identified. It's the drugs. If a loved one is prescribed these drugs, especially young people.. & they feel "off", "weird" or "not themselves"...
