Some good news: You've heard the federal bill only guarantees Covid19 *testing* will be free, not treatment.
Well NY has fixed that. Emergency Medicaid will cover testing, evaluation AND treatment--including for undocumented.
Great advocacy by @DickGottfried & @NYSenatorRivera.
You can still go outside for fresh air and exercise, but make sure to keep 6 feet between you and others. Together, we can stop the spread of COVID-19.

******SECOND BUTTON ALERT!!*********
Gov. Cuomo still in the polo but he just UNBUTTONED THE SECOND BUTTON! In under 10 days he's gone from Suit & tie to wide open polo. He bout to close the bridges & tunnels.
This is ABSOLUTELY the right call! It’s exactly why we called to redeploy NYC’s construction workers to build hospitals and repurpose sites into medical centers.
NYC’s hardhats have the skills and willingness to help fight #COVID19. Time to let them.

In Queens, 34th Ave from 73rd St to 80th St will be closed to vehicular traffic starting today from 10-7 through Monday, March 30th as part of the City’s pilot program to provide additional open space as a means to facilitating social distancing protocols.
1,357 people with flu-like symptoms visited Elmhurst's ER last week. Not all had COVID-19. https://t.co/6xMEXPs1kv via @THECITYNY#jacksonheights#Elmhurst
Important comments on Instagram that everyone should read: “Tell us the names of the 13 neighbors we lost. Tell us what these people meant to their families.” https://t.co/1eynKRRcB3 #Elmhurst
Just in: As taxi drivers are hoping for a bailout as business stalls, there is already a plan to turn them into delivery workers.
