We gave evidence & hosted committee members at @ProjectSEARCHEL in Jan
3 of the top 10 recommendations relate to increasing supported internships provision!
Just over halfway through the first rotation and interns continue to contribute in all areas of the hospital. Everyone is progressing really well and we are getting lots of great feedback from managers and mentors.

Sister Sonia came by the the Project Search Baseroom to give the interns a session on supplements and how/why we use them in the hospital. Lots of the interns were brave enough to try some of the supplements. Thank you Sister Sonia.
The hard work continues... Fantastic manual handling training delivered by Liz and Pervaiz. Teaching us how to keep ourselves and others safe in the hospital while we work.
Yesterday interns got to visit the fantastic Hyperbaric unit and had an interesting tour of the department.
In the afternoon we had a visit from Ray and Katie, who told us about their roles as P.a's in the hospital and discussed a possible placement with them.
Fantastic visit from Tariq to the interns at St Bartholomew's Project Search site. Looking forward to more activities and visits next week.
