@JeremiahOshan The attacking pieces around him were not setup to help in this one. Moose has been bad, and Rothrock and chu are definitely a step down even if they have moments. Put Morris, Roldan, Rusnak in there and the fluidity gets better. I’m sure him and Rus will interchange nicely too
@JeremiahOshan@wardjd10@jamesinho4 Like you comparing their statistics for the season when they don’t have a high enough sample size of playing the same position? I am not quantifying it based on numbers. I’m saying the team looks worse every time he’s there, than the other three anywhere near the middle.
@JeremiahOshan@wardjd10@jamesinho4 Based on performance of different players this year, I put him no higher than 4th on my personal AM depth chart. PdlV, Roldan, and even Ruidiaz have show more interest in making something happen. Don’t care about your stats. Using my eyes.
@JeremiahOshan@jamesinho4 Don’t know how it could be quantified but I’d bet on it with you if it could. It’s a moot point anyways because Schmetz and the staff see it the same way as you. But Rusnak has just never passed the eyeball test as the guy for this squad to me.
@jamesinho4@JeremiahOshan Agreed. Roldan isn’t THE guy for that spot, but his progressive approach and work rate elevated us in this one. I liked enough out of Pedro to put him there instead of the wing personally, bump Rusnak either to the bench or back with JP (imo bench) and JM and CR7 back to the wing
@JeremiahOshan I respectfully disagree. His RSL teams were not known for creating a lot of chances either, and when he’s our 10, we aren’t progressing forward quickly enough, and he’s honestly not getting enough touches for himself or others.
@sounderatheart Highly active person in the 10 slot. Notice how many more touches Ruidiaz has because of it. Rusnak is not a 10 that fits this teams style. He’s too slow and methodical, just like his old RSL teams that rarely created high quality chances. Unfortunate but I think he’s gotta go
