The blackout is over. Still have no idea what to think about yesterday. Guess Im still piecing everything together in my head. As much as i would love to leave this place i gotta let the monitoring equipment do its thing a little longer. Should be done soon though.
On the bright side i think the person who lived here before was a weed smoker cause i found one of those big resealable energy drink cans with duct tape on it that had “morgan’s stash” written on it and it was fuckin FILLED with joints. Gonna take 5 and leave the rest.
my phone was still recording from earlier inside my chest pocket. it would have gotten the whole thing but the video is mostly corrupted. gonna try and see if there is anything to salvage from it.
didnt get a good look at them. my body reacted before i could. I don’t know how but the just disappeared. I shot once and the flash blinded me for a millisecond and in that time the person just… vanished. I don’t know what to think. goddamn i need a cigarette.
The house was empty. No sign that anyone else was here either. Could I have hallucinated it? Can’t be, my camera captured it. It could have been an anomaly, but I’ve never heard of lights that turn on by themselves without power. Gonna go smoke then close the side door.
I’m gonna try and clear the rest of house but I only have a few rounds left for my rifle and it’s pitch black without a flashlight so I gotta be smart with how I do this.
The light turned off before I could enter. Looked around and there wasn’t any evidence that someone was in the garage besides me but I’m not taking any chances.
It wont protect it from the blackout so I’ll have to sleep inside the house but it’s better than leaving it out in the street. Gonna try to set up the new monitoring equipment those UN guys contracted me to put up before the blackout hits but I’m cutting it close.
Found a suitable place to wait out the blackout. Place is decently preserved for being in a suburban area. Had to hop the fence but the side door was unlocked. Luckily the garage had enough space to park my car.
