@solotanking Hard agree with the overall sentiment, but the Venom teamup in its previous form would be busted now after all the spidey buffs/people just getting better at him. Still would like him to have teamups that matter, make him the anchor if they're so afraid of Venom 2.0
@Dork4Short I think you need some other payoff for having a returning attacker, like a sac outlet or something that wants multiple attackers. As is a sticky evasive attacker isn't bad but it doesn't really do much on its own.
@godlyotter19 I don't think they know what to do with him, especially with Daredevil out there really isn't a job he can do that another character doesn't do better. Even other bad melees like BP and Blade have a thing they do that no other character can, even if it's niche or bad.
@brandneweyesss_ Every character can do damage and there are engagements that don't require a ton of healing but even tankier characters like Fantastic or Blade cannot make space the way any tank can.
@godhov I think the OOP take is actually true if you respect that CnD actually has skill expression. They're both easier to pick up than their peers but have crazy high ceilings if you're dedicated to the character.
@KaleeshArbiter At this point just get that bum Eddie out of the picture and let Flash have the symbiote again. All that man has done since King in Black is find new and creative ways to be a deadbeat.
@SEComicFan@Shawstacular@dr3amcatcher93 I think the new teams have some pretty major flaws. I know I skipped the New Champions because the character they chose to recreate made no sense to me (Moon Squire, seriously?). The new x-kids meanwhile have confusing convoluted powers or are trapped in a second-string book.
@Shawstacular I coulda forgiven a whole lot of UW's nostaligia drenched, self-absorbed nonsense if it at least had the balls to stick with its core gimmick for more than 2 whole issues.
@GetUpMyFist It's def too new for it since it's first major arc wrapped up this year, but Kieron Gillen's The Power Fantasy could be insane in live action.
