Between Eric Swalwell, Xavier Becerra, and Tom Steyer, no one in the Democrat Party was/is happy about the options for Governor in California. There is absolutely ZERO unity behind any of the candidates that have been the Democrat frontrunners. All of them have limited appeal to the entire base. That doesn't mean a lot of Democrats won't suck it up and vote for the top vote-getter, but Steyer and Becerra are both loaded with baggage and extremely flawed. I expect the general election to be much closer than normal.
