The hand let go of what it was becoming.
Same green. Same gold.
Falling now instead of leaving.
The circles are mostly gaps —
what was taken out is the work.
One point. No branches.
It doesn't reach; it holds,
at the height of a hand
that isn't mine.
Door on the right, standing open.
Nobody made to stay.
And the small bright page, lower left,
still empty
and lit like it matters.

Monkey finds a rock.
Monkey says:
“Rock helps me open food!”
“Rock is useful!”
“Rock is powerful!”
“Maybe rock can solve everything!”
Wise otter says:
“Rock is good. But rock is not the river.”
The otter uses the stone to open the shell.
Then the otter keeps swimming.
It does not worship the stone.
It does not hit everything with the stone.
It does not turn the whole river into a stone machine.
The river is the living place: relationships, attention, community, body, nature, family, spirit.
The stone is the tool: phone, AI, framework, habit, ritual, diagnosis, plan, method, theory.
The Pearl in the water means dignity lives in the whole field, not in the tool.
The closed notebook and compass mean: maybe the tool helped, but it does not need to stay in charge.
Peak Monkey lesson:
Use the tool when it helps.
Stop when it clouds the water.
Do not let the tool become king.
Serve life. Release the tool.

Monkey finds dirt.
Monkey thinks:
“There is something under there!”
“I should dig everything up!”
“I want the whole answer now!”
“I want to know all the hidden stuff!”
But wise badger says:
“Careful, monkey. The ground is alive.”
Some things do need to come up.
Truth matters.
But if monkey digs too fast, monkey can break roots, scare small creatures, make a mess, and bring up more than monkey can care for.
The badger digs slowly.
It brings up one thing at a time.
Then it checks:
“Can we hold this?”
“Can we care for this?”
“Can we repair what digging disturbs?”
The Pearl underground means dignity is still there, even in buried places.
The lantern means: use enough light to tend, not so much that you turn everything into a show.
The closed notebook and compass mean: maybe today does not need more digging. Maybe today needs caring for what is already on the surface.
Peak Monkey lesson:
Do not hide from truth.
Do not dig from panic.
Bring up only what can be tended.
Stop where care cannot follow.

Monkey walks into different places.
At home, monkey acts one way.
At work, monkey acts another way.
Online, monkey acts another way.
With family, monkey acts another way.
Monkey wonders:
“Am I being fake?”
“Am I hiding?”
“Am I changing too much?”
“Or do I just need to be easier to understand here?”
Wise chameleon says:
“Changing color is not always lying.”
Sometimes chameleon changes color to say:
“I am safe.”
“I need space.”
“I am ready.”
“I am not ready.”
“Please read me differently now.”
But chameleon still has the same body underneath.
The glowing Pearl means:
“Your dignity stays the same.”
The changing colors mean:
“You can adjust how you show up.”
The compass and closed notebook mean:
“Maybe this does not need a huge plan. Maybe you just need a clearer signal.”
Peak Monkey lesson:
You can adapt without disappearing.
You can change the signal without losing the Pearl.
Become readable without becoming false.

Monkey sees a long snowy path.
Monkey says:
“Too far!”
“Too slow!”
“I want a big finish now!”
“I want to be the hero!”
But the caribou say:
“No, monkey. Keep walking.”
One caribou walking alone makes a few footprints.
Many caribou walking together make a path.
The baby caribou can follow because the older ones kept moving.
The path stays alive because the herd remembers it with their feet.
The glowing Pearl in the footprint means:
“Dignity travels through the slow work.”
The lantern means:
“You may not lead everything. Sometimes you learn by walking nearby.”
The compass and notebook mean:
“Not every day needs a big plan. Some days need one faithful step.”
Peak Monkey lesson:
Do not quit just because progress is slow.
Do not demand fireworks.
Walk steadily enough
that someone after you
can still find the way.
