Bitcoin measures tech deflation. Pricing energy in SATS - leading to production costs measured in exact energy required - AI & Robotics & Abundance mindset.
@ghostofeustace@clif_high Go deep into Jeff Booth’s work, read his (now prophetic book from 2019) and you’ll just begin to understand the bigger picture.
The Cantillon class must laugh hysterically at the gullibility of the Canadian public. Their extraction is nearly limitless at this point, stealing candy from a baby is far more difficult.
You need to baby step the public through the mechanism Pierre, get on a public forum with Jeff Booth and get the message out.
It makes no sense to wait any longer.
Sovereignty requires access to raw materials, resources, energy, and production capacity.
Canada lacks sovereignty. That was by design and is what globalism intended.
You’d have to be willfully ignorant not to understand that.
Canada could become sovereign by opening interprovincial trade, deregulating, securing property rights, slashing government costs, cutting taxes, accelerating energy of all kinds toward independence, and building domestic manufacturing.
Of course you bozos don’t intend to, because that would distribute the monopoly profits of Canada’s corporate cartels and cut their margins.
The last thing they want is economic power going to a new entrepreneurial class that won’t maintain Liberal dominance.
So we’re left with Trump galvanizing us toward nationalism. Without those efforts to strengthen Canada, his success becomes inevitable.
You can’t stay weak and beat Trump, but Canada’s strength weakens the Liberals. That is why we’re stuck, and it won’t improve until Liberalism is abandoned entirely.
It was renamed to troll you and the other dumb Canadians, and it worked.
Renaming streets or hanging a trans flag was always meant to signal that woke leftist conquest had taken a public space. Trump has co-opted the same BS you love when your side does it. It is stupid, but it exposes the double standard and hypocrisy of the left and its Maoist renaming schemes.
The deeper signal is that this is the start, and it will continue as the dollar milkshake theory plays out on Canadians. The U.S. dollar collateral stack, undergirded by Keynesian fiat, is being replaced and hardened while the Canadian dollar bleeds value as Carney spends it into oblivion, siphoning savings into his Brookfield bag and leveraging Canadian wealth to fund his Ukrainian war machine.
It is a financial war of attrition. Because the U.S. owns the primary banking network the world uses, Canada cannot win in the long run—certainly not the way Carney is playing it.
The Great Reset was always a plan to trash the U.S. dollar and collapse the U.S., Canada, and the Commonwealth under a net-zero financial system. Trump and Bessent are co-opting that globalist degrowth “Great Reset” and inserting their own Bitcoin collateral stack. MicroStrategy gets nationalized in the U.S., and a Bitcoin-backed central bank replaces the Federal Reserve Note.
Carney will try to yoke Canada’s dollar to a European system that thinks it will still control Chinese production. That has already failed. With Ukraine collapsing and European degrowth warmongers running out of cash, that attempt will fail too.
Canadians will be forced onto the new U.S. dollar blockchain stablecoin system or watch asset prices collapse in real terms and savings evaporate.
This is the new Monroe Doctrine. It is laid out in U.S. security strategy.
Renaming Lake Ontario may look stupid, but the endgame is renaming Canadian dollars into American dollars.
Those who understand real economics and realpolitik have seen this coming. You are too bogged down in emotion to see past the latest distraction.
The irony is that growth from AI, robotics, and automation means a better future even for those too dumb to see the different paths. It will be hard, but those who make it through will be far better off under Trump’s energy-abundance regime than under Carney’s low-carbon, low-energy poverty project his book Values pushed.
Ad hominem is the correct response to someone not approaching an issue in good faith.
I don’t cast pearls before swine. They’re simply incapable of reason and don’t recognize a quality argument anyway. 🐷
You are incapable of reason, @TheWalkingDet, so all you can do is lie.
The vast majority of people in Canada rage-baited by Trump’s name change had zero reaction to the leftist cultural revolution that tore down statues of historical figures, renamed streets and universities, and altered history.
You claim “false equivalence” because you are a liar, nothing more.
If degrowth and net zero are anti-human (they are) and Canada follows a script that treats a reduced living standard as moral (it does) while the U.S. embraces an abundance mentality (it does), one system hinders energy production and consumption while the other does not. The model that markets itself as environmentally sustainable and moral needs global empire to impose its values. It can therefore be argued that Canada is not an ally of the U.S., because it seeks to weaken growth, energy use, production and consumption and hold back material progress in the age of AI, robotics and automation.
A growth mindset and a static-system mindset are opposed by definition.
To ignore these dynamics is to pretend that Canada’s orientation allows the same friendship and cooperation with the U.S. when they do not.
Really enjoyed this conversation. That question of the Way hasn’t gone anywhere.
Nearly two decades in China left me sitting with the Dao more than I ever planned to. Wrote something in July that landed in the same place:
“I believe Bitcoin maps to both. It carries the Logos-like quality of fixed, truthful, verifiable structure and error-correcting logic. At the same time, it aligns with the Dao as an underlying, self-organizing force that simply is — a protocol that orients us toward reality without needing to be commanded.”

The endgame may not be the government buying Bitcoin directly. It may be far more elegant than that. Imagine a U.S. sovereign wealth vehicle taking a 10% strategic position in Strategy, while simultaneously introducing Treasury collateral into the architecture. Treasuries remain the pristine collateral of the existing system. Bitcoin becomes the pristine collateral of the emerging system. Strategy sits directly between the two.
That changes STRC entirely. Instead of relying primarily on Strategy’s USD reserve for confidence and liquidity support, sovereign-grade Treasury collateral can begin performing that function. The cash reserve is suddenly liberated. Saylor takes that liquidity and extinguishes the remaining convertible debt, removing the legacy financing layer and radically simplifying the balance sheet. What remains is an increasingly clean capital stack built around Bitcoin at the base, Digital Credit above it, and common equity at the top.
That isn’t simply a government investment in MSTR. It is a recapitalization mechanism. The old system’s collateral is used to backstop the transition while Bitcoin is progressively institutionalized as the collateral of the next system. Treasuries provide the bridge. Bitcoin provides the destination. And STRC becomes one of the instruments capable of carrying capital from one monetary architecture into the next.
You have to understand: “the other side” is not arguing in good faith. They are using the conversation operationally to impose their frame, redirect you, force you onto the defensive, manufacture concessions, and shape your perception.
You are presenting evidence. They are managing you.
That is the asymmetry. Your “correct argument” cannot defeat a person or tactic whose purpose is not to answer you, but to manipulate you.
“All war is deception.” -Sun Tzu
Maybe you missed that lesson?
Politics is war by other means and therefore ALWAYS withholds truths it believes either reveal its hand, thwarting its own objectives, or that the populace cannot handle.
Both Carney and Trump are engaging in the same great game.
In war and politics truth is always the first thing to die.
It’s an ideological disagreement: growth vs. degrowth.
Did you read Carney’s book?
Static net zero vs. exponential growth via robotics, automation and AI.
Canada doesn’t mean anything; it isn’t just a concept. Only the software running on “Canada” is relevant, not blind allegiance to a concept outside a full accounting of the system being imposed.
Most Canadians have failed to do such an accounting.
It’s fine to disagree on ideological grounds, but if one believes a very anti-human Malthusian ethos undergirds the Carney package, Trump desiring abundance economics that don’t require severely reducing consumption and population levels at least makes him the more humanitarian of the bunch.
It’s the Mark Carneys of the world that remain truly cynical about the prospects of humanity and the ambiguity of AI automation and robotics that flips on their Karen control pattern.
Personally, I’d rather embrace the ambiguity and see how high we can build up humanity. Remove the red tape, unleash energy and aim towards Kardashev level one civilization.
Carney didn’t want to do the trade deal because he knew it would help fix Canada. US was asking Canada stop draconian speech laws and outdated environmental laws hampering investment but Carney doesn’t want Canadians to realize how easy it is to unfuck everything..
Chinese humanoid robot by smartphone maker Honor (“Lightning”) ran 100m in 9.32 seconds (Usain Bolt’s record is 9.58 seconds).
Perhaps more impressively: it crashed into a safety wall without having its waist implode with sparks flying off.
Does the whole world want managed decline and an imposed end to the middle class through deindustrialization and government dependence? An energy-hobbled, static, zero-growth economy where only a small ruling liberal elite lives high on the hog as the middle class once did? An increasingly centralized, cartelized economy extracting maximum tribute via monopolistic pricing?
I doubt it.
The world wants the energy 🇨🇦 has for the opposite reason: to raise living standards, not stifle or regress them.
