I am genuinely confused that Keir Starmer gave 16 year olds the vote, thinking that they would support him, and then . . . he infuriated every single teenager in the country with a social media ban. Forget the policy debate. This is just baffling politics.
The problem is is that we think we're not. If we were a true free market there will no be no manipulation. Instead we got corporate capture we have regulations to prevent people to make it to the full potential. No country is not a true capitalist country. Just like China is not truly a communist country and then work it's more like a command economy. The difference is in United States the corporation sit on top and then the government and China it's the government and then the corporations.
@NeverteIImeodd Looking at the street sign looks like this took place in Russia. But many places like the United States when you see The Pedestrian Crossing you're the supposed to come to a stop not get pissed off because you had to come to stop
This is definitely sad and tragic. I've always been against things like bungee core jumping because it's dangerous. What happened here was pure stupidity. The one who's going to be bungee cord jumping should be completely familiar with what they're going to go through. If you pick me up and walking me over then I don't feel that rope around my leg I'm going to be saying hey stop
Well you never know with word of mouth. Master of the universe could do better. That being said I was 14 years old when it came out the cartoon back in 1983. I wasn't really into it back then though may have seen a few episodes. Just it wasn't for me. Though I'm glad they are trying to stay true to the original cartoon. And Dave don't feel bad you got this wrong it's always good for the soul to eat a little humble pie from time to time.
Just watched a family film that has smooching in it and it was so hard not to laugh at my five year old while she writhed in agony going "BLEAH YUCK GROSS WHEN WILL THEY STOP KISSING"
As always, Dave, I appreciate your thoughtful perspective on this topic. I watched all three seasons of The Mandalorian. I really liked the first two seasons, but I didnβt enjoy the third as much. Honestly, it should have been called Bo-Katan.
Regarding Star Trek, Iβve watched everything up to Star Trek: Enterprise. Basically, I stopped following the franchise after that. Itβs interesting to consider what draws each of us to these franchises.
Iβve found the constant theme of saving the world, Earth, or the entire universe to be boring, similar to the superhero fatigue with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Star Trek movies with the original cast were mostly very enjoyable for me. For example, The Search for Spock focused on saving Spock, while The Wrath of Khan dealt with James T. Kirkβs past confronting him through Khan.
For me, I enjoy being immersed in a different world and setting. It doesnβt always need to be high stakes; I just want a good story that keeps me engaged without pushing a woke moral or ethical message. Again, great video. I look forward to your next one
