In this article i am going to quickly show you how you can build a simple rails api. This will give you a great start especially if you are new to Ruby on Rails. https://t.co/jOPgXVXcyc
@AttorneyF_ The God that sent Jesus who stopped people from stonning someone who committed adultery cannot send someone who believe adultery is punishable by death
Exactly brother, riba is pure exploitation of the desperate.
But while we’re talking Islamic economics… what about jizya?
The tax Islam mandates that every adult non-Muslim male must pay the Islamic state, simply for not being Muslim, while Muslims pay zakat instead. No “skin in the game,” no risk, just an annual fee for existing as a non-believer under Muslim rule.
If charging even 1 naira extra on a loan is wicked exploitation, how is extracting money from people based purely on their faith any different?
Or is the “no exploitation” rule only for Muslims? Honest question.
Jizya or riba, both are taking wealthy without shared risk. Let’s be consistent.
You never see anything. When we talk against Riba (interest), many of you think I am against investment or economic growth.
He is here complaining because he is at the receiving end. The 50% interest Opay wants you to pay is the amount of your sweat they want eat for helping you at the moment of distress.
This is exactly why Islam forbids Riba. Lending money should be a cause for charity and community support, not a tool to trap a struggling person in debt. If a person was fine, will he borrow money? He is borrowing money because it has been become a necessity for him.
And if you expect or demand even 1 naira addition to the money you lent out, you are not helping anyone, you are exploiting them.
If you want to make a profit, take your capital, go into the market, and do actual business. Put skin in the game, take a risk, and share both profit and loss.
But sitting back and using someone's desperate situation to automatically multiply your wealth is wicked. Riba (interest) does not build wealth, it just sucks the life out of the person who actually works.
Allah knows best.
“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT
The Nigerian military is taking credit for “rescuing” some 400 hostages released by Boko Haram in Ngoshe.
That is a lie, of course. Here is the word from eyewitnesses on the ground.
Soldiers delivered ransom to Boko Haram, said to be somewhere between 3 and 5 billion naira.
Only Muslim hostages were released. The Christian women and children remain in captivity.
They were being held in a village named Gavva at the shadow of Mandara Mountain, three kilometers away from the military base in Ngoshe.
That is not a rescue. That is complicity, and a wealth transfer to their terrorist comrades. It is also proof and a continuation of the ongoing Christian genocide.
This is video of the Muslim women and children being returned.
