��� Major development The Colorado Court of Appeals just overturned Tina Peters 9 year prison sentence and ordered resentencing.

The judges ruled that the original sentencing judge violated her First Amendment rights by punishing her for speaking out about election integrity and 2020 concerns. You cant give someone extra prison time just for exercising free speech.

Colorado AG Phil Weisers response was completely out of line when he said “Whatever happens with her sentence Tina Peters will always be a convicted felon who violated her duty as Mesa County clerk put other lives at risk and threatened our democracy. Nothing will remove that stain”.

Even after the Colorado Court of Appeals struck down the vindictive 9-year sentence for improperly punishing Tina Peters’ protected free speech, it highlights ongoing bias among Colorado prosecutors and judges.

Punishing someone for exercising their First Amendment rights is not only unethical, it violates her civil rights. The original sentencing judge should be removed from the bench.
