You can add cameras, but not the global cameras such as the ones on oilrig. Also, cameras through the app can only be monitored while you are not logged in.
@Alistair_McF@Alistair_McF@ErrnieGerrn wow, I finally understand how BM RCON works and why your hands are tied. Our consequence is crystal clear: We'll remove BM entirely from RustPlus Desktop with he next patch. We already removed all In-App-Tracking (except for servers w.o your randomizer)
@Keeevinoo@Alistair_McF@ErrnieGerrn Rust+Desktop is unofficial & not reviewed nor approved by Facepunch. It uses Companion API & BattleMetrics data. It doesn't touch Rust.exe, EAC, memory or game files. No one gives guarantees. As a 13K veteran I can only be transparent about what it does & doesn't do.๐ ๏ธOpenSource
@blooprintgames If you want to go for a smart Alarm auto defend system and need some software backup, my Rust Plus Desktop App got you covered ;) Until then I'm looking forward for your next video. Cheers!
@SWE_Motorizer@playrust I've always loved it and used it a lot to control smart devices. Check out the Desktop Version (RustPlus Desktop) I started a while ago. If you want to have the same anxiety @ home with your PC speakers :-p You can do a lot of cool shit with it ;)
@kaiserrol@playrust Well, it's a "Token" and data issue. I implemented camera Data on my Rust Plus Desktop App as well and the raw data without trees etc. looks even wilder :D BUT it's enough to see enemies around your base etc. It's a brilliant idea in general.
@playrust@Xanaspirit Yes. Big servers like Rustoria are a challenge for the mobile app! Iโve been working on Rust Plus Desktop to bridge that gap. It (kinda) stays connected at least adds PC-QoL like shared team markers & devices, audio alerts, advanced shop analysis etc. OpenSource ofc.
