i think the niche circlejerk goes too far sometimes.
niching down is definitely the way to go to stand out, find people and grow but if it’s a niche with almost zero audience then it’s not worth it.
like you said, you need to be able to fill the top funnel pretty regularly so if you’re aiming to go after a niche of a niche of a niche, you’re probably not going to get that much to constantly fill it
copy and paste from another reply to show why this replying to post works also:
you go to a party and you want to make as many friends as possible.
what do you think is the best way to do it?
stand in the corner and talk to yourself or go around and mingle with people?
algo doesn’t really matter for growing an audience on socials on any platform. if you interact with people and have genuine exchanges then you’ll grow.
it’s as simple as that.
@0xschlboy haha fair. i posted the gif then thought i’d best answer in case it was a serious comment you made and didn’t wanna leave you hanging just on the off chance
all these people claiming that grok bot is the way to achieve millions of impressions and go viral have no clue what it really takes to do either of those things.
@_champs4 most people confuse strategy with just copying others.
whether it’s from themselves or the leadership above them, crypto has a serious issue with lack of strategy and just following others.
sadly.
@Onyedikachi___ i’m pro-remote jobs first but can see how sometimes it’s good to at least be hybrid. especially if you want to do some content with some of the team or stay more in sync with each other (companies generally suck at online communication).
i spend way too much time on my job’s account that i have very little time to run this account and totally neglect my true “personal” account.
the way i do it is to try and find days or times to sneak it in:
- schedule posts for this account on a quiet day at work or weekend day
- reply to people when i have small breaks (getting coffee, lunch, etc) or even when i’m in a meeting that has no relation to me.
doesn’t always work out but try to keep it up
real answer:
it’s not really that worth it.
i think AI is generally good for social listening for finding reply opportunities and to help with content ideation, formatting your content (e.g. you have a thought/idea but don’t know how to structure it) and giving you a second opinion on it but if you get it to write most of your content and/or outsource your social management then it’s really not worth it.
