We had a really mean python at work and I gave him back to his owner and was like “he was trying to kill me” and his owner said “well, he only has so many ways to interact with the world. All he has is a face” and it Moved Me
NEW: Expert thrift shopper purchases a $3.07 Lakers warm-up jacket that is now expected to sell at auction for up to $250,000.
19-year-old Quinn Brown of Oregon says he found an LA Lakers warm-up jacket that was worn by Wilt Chamberlain.
Brown says he was thrifting when someone, after deciding they didn't want the jacket, threw it in front of him.
"He just threw it in front of me, and I immediately grabbed it," Brown said.
The man says he posted a photo of the jacket on Instagram, which caught the attention of Sotheby’s auction house.
"They said your jacket has been matched to the 1972 NBA Finals. I knew the NBA Finals jersey sold for $4.9 million. That’s the jersey he wore under my jacket," Brown said.
The jacket has since been authenticated. Sotheby’s says it is worth between $150,000 and $250,000.
@sakebu_cheese_ I wanna build out a van or truck and travel. I’d like to ship it places and live in it when I get there, and travel even further with my tiny home.
I would love to explore old railways on rail bikes.
Eventually I’ll find a forest to keep safe, and then I’ll stay there.
@shaunvlog_ They are very smart. I grew up with a friend who raised one after its mother passed away. I’m still jealous for the experience 🫣 They wash their hands and wash food before eating it and we love them
CA trying to ban gas stoves & force land lords to install “fire prevention “ set ups in people’s kitchens might be what finally makes me move to another state.
1/3 of the time that I turn on my stove or oven since this was installed, it does not work. 1 out of 3 times I cook.
There is a Japanese legend that says:
if you miss the bus, maybe you avoided the accident. If you got rejected, maybe you were saved from the wrong place. If they left, maybe they made room for who is coming. The universe protects you in ways that look like bad luck at first. Trust the detour.🍂
