Tennessee’s future depends on the pathways we build today.
The 2026 Future Forward Summit highlighted a critical challenge: while most students say career planning matters, many still face disconnected systems and unclear paths from education to career.
To change that, we must strengthen connections across K-12, higher education, employers, and workforce systems — ensuring every Tennessee student can access a high-quality pathway to economic mobility.
Through #TN2030, Tennessee is working toward ambitious goals to increase postsecondary enrollment and completion while expanding access to high-value credentials aligned to workforce needs.
