#WritingCommunity, does anyone know anything about including imagery in traditionally published novels? My MC works in advertising and I'm toying with the idea of including the occasional image (eg full page "ads" between chapters), but would this be more trouble than it's worth?

Probably the toughest pill for writers to swallow: every sentence, scene, character, line of dialogue, chapter, etc. MUST contribute either to plot, world, or character development. If it doesn't, cut it -- it's redundant. #WritingCommunity #EditTip #WriteTip

I accidentally left my mirrored wardrobe open and facing the door earlier, and when I went back into my bedroom I was so startled to see my reflection right in front of me that I karate chopped it. So that's how my day is going.

@Moonwriter11 🙋 I like plot-driven action adventure or narrative games. I find it a good way to switch off and relax while still kind of achieving something? Even though they're not hugely different, I don't feel as guilty after spending hours on a game as I do after a Netflix binge.

Man, this has been a shit week. But at least when I wake up on Monday it will all be over and we won't have a Tory government and my grandad will be alive. Oh wait!
