Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Suvendu Adhikari inaugurated the Paschimbanga Abas scheme.

Launching the programme from Nabanna Sabhaghar, he symbolically handed over cheques to eligible beneficiaries. Direct financial assistance of approximately ₹6,122 crore will be credited to the bank accounts of more than 1.02 million eligible families across the state.

In this phase, each beneficiary who has completed the construction of their house up to the lintel level will receive ₹60,000 as the second instalment of financial assistance.

I had the good fortune to immerse myself in a deeply soulful experience by participating in the sacred Ratha Yatra celebrations today.
I feel truly blessed after seeking the divine darshan of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra at the ISKCON Kolkata Temple, followed by the spiritual grace of joining the opening festivities in Tamluk and Mecheda.
Witnessing the ocean of devotees chanting the Holy Names with such pure devotion as they pulled the Chariots was a profoundly moving experience.
The Ratha Yatra is a divine manifestation of devotion and surrender in the service of the Supreme Lord.
As the Chariots roll, may Mahaprabhu Jagannath Dev bestow His infinite compassion, spiritual light and inner peace upon every soul. May His divine blessings guide us on the path of righteousness.

Today I inaugurated the “Jan Kalyan Shivir” (জনকল্যাণ শিবির) at Reyapara, Nandigram.
The Government of West Bengal have organised “Jan Kalyan Shivirs” across West Bengal from 15th to 17th June 2026 as a convergent, single-window outreach programme to bridge the gap between various Central & State Government Schemes and their intended beneficiaries.
These Camps would enable on-the-spot registration and verification for Schemes like Annapurna Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, PM Matsya Sampada Yojana, PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Vishwakarma Yojana and other welfare initiatives.

Our mission is simple and unwavering: to ensure that the benefits of every single State and Central Government welfare scheme reach the rightful beneficiaries with utmost transparency and zero hassle. From social security to essential Citizen services, we are committed to empower every household.
